RE-SOURCE.BIO combines the ITN-RESOURCE and the AOP:
Previously known as ITN-INFINITY, the ITN-RESOURCE.BIO clusters the international academic collaborations within AUGent with focus on bioresource recovery from by-products and waste streams in the agro-food value chain.
It specifically aims at:
Supporting UGent international educational programs, with a strong collaboration with China;
Fostering a vigorous student exchange - for all involved international partners, including a consolidated network with Asian Partners, we have a focus on Joint PhD development and establishment of a cohesive community around these PhDs;
Outreaching to researchers through summers schools and participation at international conferences.
Association Research Platform
Stimulates and strengthens research and services on resource recovery within the AUGent association via co-promotion of PhDs, joint submissions of projects and funding requests, and knowledge exchange via seminars.
